      I love the people, activities & food. We are well taken care of. The staff is very kind. Everyone is like a family. I am very well satisfied with LLV.

      They are on their 5th Director of Nursing and still looking. Everything is about money regardless of short staff or the lack of quality care.

      Lutheran Homes is one of the leading continuing care retirement communities in the United States. A nonprofit organization, it has been operational for more than 60 years. A social ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, it is affiliated with the Indiana Association of Homes and Services for the Aging and Kendallville Chamber of Commerce. Located in Fort Wayne, Ind., the center provides several services and facilities, such as Medicare-certified health care solutions, Alzheimer s disease and dementia care, private and semiprivate rooms, transportation solutions, a therapy pool, restorative wellness center, and beauty salon and barbershop. Spread on more than 20 acres of land, Lutheran Homes offers a wide variety of residential living options, such as one- and two-bedroom cottages and deluxe and studio apartments.
