we purchased an Amish custom table and chair set. we expected good quality but this exceeded all of our expectations. several of our friends have seen ours and purchased from j and l also. could not be happier!

My parents have been buying their furniture from J & L as long as I can remember. After recently getting married, my wife and I purchased several items of furniture and couldn't be happier. Their variety was great, not the same old I saw at other places. We were very pleased with their prices. They also helped us choose fabrics for the sofa. I would definitely recommend them above all others in this area.

They have great quality and unique pieces and have always given us the best price when we compared them to other stores. We have always been happy with the customer service we received and have enjoyed working with them. I would recommend them to any of my friends.

We purchased a sofa from J&L and was told it would be in within 6-8 weeks. We ended up waiting over 5 mths!! They have terrible customer service. Never once did I get a phone call with any updates, I always did all of the calling and often was told they would call me back and never would. I will say the price on the couch was good and I was happy with it when it finally came in. If you can afford to wait a long time for furniture and don't mind horrible customer service, then the prices may be worth it.

We purchased a Queen Anne style chair from them and paid a lot of money for it and it is junk!! The quality of the fabric is not good, looked pretty, but was cheap! It was a chair that very seldom was sat in it and the fabric wore out within 6 months. I will never purchase anything from J & L ever again.

We purchased a sectional and a bedroom set last month and couldn't be happier. Our furniture came in 2 weeks ahead of schedule and looked perfect. The delivery guys were great too!

my chairs arrived damaged and i spent a month on the phone with J&L to get this corrected. they were not helpful and i ended up contacting the manufacturer to get the issue resolved. they get a D rating

My husband and I have purchased several items from J and L and are happy with their products and service. After shopping at other local furniture shops, we found that J and L could order the same merchandise at lower costs and have been shopping there ever since. Our purchases range from master bedroom furniture, bunk beds, sofas, computer armoires, kitchen tables and a few accessories -- and everything is still in incredible condition after years of owning. We've worked with John (the owner) and other members of his staff and have found them to be knowledgable and helpful. I have highly recommended J and L to my circle of friends.

If you expecting good customer service and acceptable resolutions to your ordering/delivery issues, then J & L Furniture of Florence, KY is NOT the place to shop. They do not follow up on delivery problems from the manufacture, nor do they keep their customers informed. Months go by and unless you do all the calling there are no updates provided to you as the customer. Also plan on spending at least $10,000.00 otherwise their Customer Service Rep apparently feels you aren't worthy of her time.
