lifetime members need to start class action suit for monies owed poor bussines

No stars, closing on 9-27-2013 leaving lifetime members with 1 yr at powerhouse and will not refund. I purchased a lifetime membership not 1 year.

The hours are already horrible and then in the winter they reduce them even further. Sundays 9-2:30pm? Really? If a person goes to church, this doesn't accommodate them at all. The price may be cheap, but with such minimal access I'd rather pay double and have 24/7 access at Snap Fitness with sleeker and cleaner equipment. Sure there is no "wet area", but I never really used it at Fitness USA anyway because it was always overcrowded with water aerobics or the women's social hour and it made it impossible to swim laps or relax. I have seen people at Fitness USA using machines so incorrectly they would surely hurt themselves over time and none of the staff ever takes time to correct people who misuse it. They spend more time chit-chatting then focusing on the clients. The machines are old and beat up, the jacuzzi is over-chlorinated, the steam room is black with mold. The carpets are filthy. You get what you pay for.

I bought a lifetime membership but now I have to pay to use the co-ed area if I want to work out everyday since the Dort Hwy. gym closed. It's not that expensive but it's just the point. Also, their equipment is not in the best condition. Their TVs always seem to be broken as well. Their personal trainers are way over priced. I saw a woman trainer texting on her cell phone while she was working w/a client. I think that's very unprofessional.

Was always separate days for men. Now with coed area I can workout with my girlfriend for only $14 a month. Friendly staff, great value. Clean facilities, which is more than I can say for some other gyms. This place has a swimming pool, which is hard to find in a gym these days. I love the dry heat sauna & whirlpool. The steam room's not for me, but my friends like it.
