      Founded in 1988, Fairfax Area Christian Emergency & Transitional Services, also known as FACETS, offers a variety of support services throughout Virginia. The agency provides counseling services and enrichment programs to individuals and families. It also offers permanent and transitional supportive housing facilities. The agency offers several financial options, as well as assistance with basic living activities. Fairfax Area Christian Emergency & Transitional Services works with more than 350 volunteers to provide social services and other supportive programs low-income families. It additionally offers housekeeping, parenting, budgeting and computer training services. The agency provides after-school educational and recreational programs for children in kindergarten through grade 12.
