Im willing to wager 100 bucks the other reviews are fake. This lawyer is an absolute snake in the grass. He quotes you a "fee" and then does everything possible to rack up the bill.I've fixed so much crappy paperwork. He charges you to fix his own mistakes too. Im filing a grievance. I used Mr Kruse to try to settle an estate. He was originally helpful, although expensive but what lawyer now a days isn't, but when I didn't move to close the case quick enough he chose to act on his own accord to write up papers for me to close and then charged me to do so. When I didn't respond quick enough he started to charge me interest on paperwork I didn't ask for. When I addressed this issue with him he acted offended and removed himself from the case. Very unprofessional on his part. Left me hanging. Could have been handled much better. Do your homework before you retain a lawyer. I had to learn this the hard way. This is not the man I would suggest to retain.

I went to Tom Kruse for a very simple basic divorce - no property or debts between us just children - wanted a divorce and child support - one year and over $4000.00 later I am still married and not receiving any child support. The original contract signed said the average cost of an uncontested divorce was $850.00. I was not given good sound legal advise which is what I thought I was paying for, I was given the most costly way to file for a simple divorce with many unnecessary steps thrown in to up the costs. which is what I paid for. Now Mr. Kruse is talking about moving on to a trial which will cost "thousands of dollars"......all this for a simple uncontested divorce. Tom Kruse has a passion all right, a passion for taking other people's money! I refuse to give this man another dime!

made an appointment for a chapter 7 bankruptcy consultation and after receiving some forms and other paperwork i was charged $100, which for a person thinking about bankruptcy is a lot of money.there was no notice in his paperwork or website of fees for consult and i feel he is less than honest and would never recommend mr tom kruse to friends, family or any other citizen.

I was told when I called that the initial consultation would be free but after 30 minutes of hearing what he's done for a few other clients, I was charged $150. We barely spoke about my specific situation and barely any details given, I still don't know what my options are. In order to find out if he will even help me, I'd have to fill out a questionnaire and pay $500 for them to evaluate it. If I don't qualify for Chapter 7, he would refer me to someone else. NOT impressed.
