Hope is a people-friendly church, with Bible-based teaching and contemporary worship. Everyone is welcome to come and participate in our casual, high-energy service at 11:00 every Sunday morning. Hope is a place for people to come and meet with God. It is our hope and prayer that everyone who encounters the Living God would be saved. We are not ashamed to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes. Atmosphere There is a real sense of an open community at Hope. Most everyone marvels at how friendly eveyone is to vistors and we make it a point to include everybody. Worship Style At Hope, we are contemporary in our worship style, while not forsaking the rich heritage of past music. We usually utilize a full rhythm section (bass, drums, guitar, piano, and synthesizer) on Sunday mornings and for Worship Nights. Contemporary arrangements of traditional hymns are used to complement modern worship songs. Our goal is to worship God with the attitudes of our hearts and make excellent music to glorify God. Typical Service Though the exact order varies from week to week, most services include worship in prayer, worship in music (congregational singing), worship in giving (vistors are not expected to give), worship in the Word (a message from the Bible, delivered by the pastor). Other elements that are included occasionally are communion (first Sunday of every month), special music, presentations, drama, and testimonies. People People of all ages and types make up the congregation at Hope. We have kids, teenagers, college students, young adults, married couples, baby-boomers, and very wonderful elderly members as well. And we have programs for each age group to become involved in.
