Wonderful place to learn horseback riding. Beautiful trails, indoor arena in case of inclement weather and offers camps. Best in the area.

My daughter took lessons for a year and half. She learned a lot in that short time. She is going to use that knowledge in her career. She's attending a Vet Tech program right now and is very excited about working with horses again. Thanks Karen and Amanda for giving her a good start for her future career.

I'm almost 50 years old and my wife purchased a couple of horses about 5 months ago.I have ridden horses before since I was a child but that was at the "by the hour" places. My wife recently purchased 2 horses and although she knew what she was doing I was not so sure. After taking Wild Rose's Beginner Camp I feel more comfortable taking care of our horses and their instructors went to great lengths to ensure I was knowledgable with everything before the classes ended. I also received great critique on my riding posture which I didn't know wasn't right to begin with. Both Karen and her staff go the extra mile to ensure that no matter what level you are at that they add true value to your lesson plans. I even experienced seeing a young girl who was actually afraid of horses at the beginning ride her horse confidently thru the obstacle course by the end of the 3 day beginner boot camp. Many thanks to Wild Rose and I would recommend highly.

Our granddaughter has been a student at Wild Rose for only 5 months so far. It's amazing how much she has learned about horses in that time. She's learned how to properly care for, interact and certainly ride. Lisa is her teacher and is SPECTACULAR! Karen has a tremendous heart for horses and teaching all about horses, and I've never met a harder worker in my life! Now as the summer's 8-week Riding Academy is winding down, I again thank the Brown family for their kindness and sacrifice for their providing this wonderful extended training (and fun!) time for their students. It couldn't have been a profit generator for them. The fee was affordable only because they put the interests of their students far ahead of money. They gave their students SO much extra hands-on (and riding) time with the horses than I could ever have dreamed without my needing to own a bank! Thank you Karen, Lisa, Amanda, Tom, Kayla, Jordan, Becka!! You made a little girl's dreams come true!!!

I am 41 and always wanted to learn to ride, this year I took that leap! At Wild Rose I have learned more than riding. They teach you about the horses, how to take on challenges, and overcome obstacles. Amanda, my instructor, is the best! At Wild Rose you can tell they really care about horses but more than that they care about people. If you are even thinking about riding you should take a look at Wild Rose.

Karen cares about her students and her horses. I took riding lessons at the farm for two years along with attending some of the camps. You learn more than just how to ride a horse and that's what makes it such a great experience. I would recommend Wild Rose farm to anyone.

Our family (including small children) has used Wild Rose Farm for lessons and for horse boarding for over a year. We have found the owners, their children and the staff to be very knowledgeable, capable, caring, and friendly. For lessons, horses are brought into the arena by staff prior to scheduled classes and are awaiting their riders. Children are taught about caring for, grooming and tacking the horses before they are allowed to take riding lessons. They become confident in their own abilities as horse people which has also been very helpful for our childrens self esteem outside of the arena. They have been allowed to move up in the size of pony they ride during lessons as their riding abilities and skill levels change. While boarding our horses, the owners and staff have always been available to us to offer help and/or advice on all things relating to our horses. From overall health, behavior, wounds, training or rider advice. The owners are also able to provide experienced farrier services on site. They provide advance notice of Vet visits to the farm, which is cost effective and convenient for boarders. The property is well kept and the hours available to boarders is generous. Overall, our family has and continues to enjoy our time at Wild Rose Farm. Our children truly benefit from the one on one time spent during lessons as well as group time and our entire family appreciates the availability of the owners and staff when we need them, as well as the privacy offered to us when we simply want to enjoy our horses on our own.

As to the review prior to mine, that particular farm is in local competition with WRF when it comes to providing lessons. While I am sure they offer great services, I cannot agree with their assessment. I am sure there is an honest reason for the review they left, but our family simply cannot find truth within their review. Our experience has been wonderful and we will continue to use and praise WRF for what they offer our family.
