Does your dog our cat have an emergency? If so give us a call. We strive to give you the same great care you would expect from your primary care veterinarian when they are not available.
Our doctors have emergency veterinary medicine experience and will work with your veterinarian to help get the best care for your dog or cat.
If unsure if it is an emergency you can always call. Here are a list of some conditions that should not wait and should be seen immediately!
1. Seizures
2. Trouble Breathing
3. Any injuries to the eye
4. Ingestion of any poisons such as antifreeze, rat poisoning, human medications, household cleaners, fertilizers, pesticides, or other harmful chemicals. If in doubt, GIVE US A CALL!!!
5. Blood is seen in urine or feces
6. Broken bones
7. Patient is unconscious
8. Swollen abdomen that is hard to the touch
9.Strains or is unable to urinate (especially for male cats)
10. Any form of trauma such as hit by a car
11. Vomiting and/or diarrhea for more that 24 hours.
12. Has gone more than 3-4 hours between delivering puppies or kittens.
13. Signs of being painful such as whining or shaking
14. Bleeding from eyes, nose, or mouth
15.Serious bleeding
16. Bite wounds or lacerations
