This location in el dorado is very poorly ran. The business takes all the money...about 5000 for skilled nursing a resident, but doesn't want to fork out the money for an efficient amount of staffing,quality food and equipment. Can you say greedy?!?!?!?

I researched several nursing homes before taking my mom to Lakepoint and found lakepoint to have a great record with inspections and care reports. When we took a tour, I was a little aprehensive because the interior obviously needed updating but it was very clean and the workers were so kind. The other homes we looked at may have had new fancy rooms and decorations but it was obvious they lacked the personal connection that Lakepoint had. We admitted my mom there and have been pleased with the quality of care she is getting. Its such a relief to know she is where she can get great care and love and I can spend time visiting her when ever I want. They're remodeling now and things are looking great - to match the quality service they provide! Thank you Lakepoint for being there for my family.

Moving my dad to lake Point took so much burden off me and my mom. Every time I visit, he is always clean and looks nice. The nurses know his name and every one stops to speak to him. The building is clean and smells good - not like some of the other places we visited. My mom is able to rest and take care of herself knowing he is taken care of - and I can too.
