We Create Beautiful Smiles? When you visit our office, your smile is our top priority. Our entire team is dedicated to providing you with the personalized, gentle care that you deserve. We are committed to serving our patients and providing information that helps them to make more informed decisions about their oral health needs. We hope you find this website useful. For Those Special Occasions We'll Make you Look Your Best Individual care is our way of treating each of our patients. It involves developing a relationship based on open communication, mutual trust, and on getting patients involved in their own dental well-being. It requires time and getting to know what is important to each patient. Learning about a patient is the key to helping patients reach their desired dental health goals. Individual care allows the dentist the time that is necessary to treat each patient in a personal caring manner. Our scheduling is done to respect your time, but we ask that you return the courtesy by being on time for appointments. In our practice, patients come to us initially because they are looking for gentle, high quality, individual dental care. They return because they are satisfied. We depend on patients being satisfied with our care, so that they are comfortable referring friends and family to join our dental family as well. A healthy, attractive smile is an important facet of everyone's life, with an impact on our health, self-esteem,and relationships, both personal and professional. Cosmetic dentistry has come of age offering new procedures that make a beautiful smile accessible to everyone. Dental technology, balanced with a discerning eye for esthetics, can bring dramatic results. We can mend a chip here, lighten a discoloration there, close up gaps, straighten teeth - where each of these procedures are, for the most part, conservative and comfortable. We'll be happy to explain our cosmetic dental services to you. We happen to think everyone deserves the best of all possible smiles. In our practice, preventative treatment begins with your first visit. It is a learning experience for both of us. Because of this, we usually schedule one and a half to two hours to spend with you. The visit begins with: An Office tour A review of our sterilization systems A review of your dental and medical history with Dr. Muff A discussion of your dental desires, goals and concerns A review of the dentist/patient commitment Blood pressure screening A complete oral examination, including a soft tissue examination a periodontal evaluation cancer screening, and dental charting A radiographic (X-ray) study to aid in diagnosis A hygiene fitness evaluation, and An Oral Hygiene review and practice At your second visit, called a Review of Findings, Dr. Muff will share all the information gathered during your first visit with you. She will respond to and clarify any questions you may have. Treatment needs and options will be reviewed. A treatment plan will be formulated and a treatment sequence will be developed with you. Your input is crucial for developing a plan that will work for you. Long-term success and benefits can be achieved only if you desire to be healthy and follow through to meet the goals that we set together. What is a Dental Implant? A dental implant is an artificial tooth root (synthetic material) that is surgically anchored into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge in place. The benefit of using implants is that they don't rely on neighboring teeth for support, they are permanent and stable. Implants are a good solution to tooth loss because they look and feel like natural teeth.
