Adult Basketball Enthusiasts, We are starting registration for the 5th annual Easter Seals Shootout. Details are below. We hope to expand the tournament to 40 teams this year, with more divisions. We will be posting flyers at Eastside and Five Points in Washington, as well as several location at Bradley University, to generate additional teams. The tournament will be held at Eastside Center in East Peoria on Saturday, March 5, 2011. This gives us 6 courts to hold games. All proceeds from this event will be donated directly to Easter Seals and will be used locally at the Peoria and Bloomington facilities. Registration forms, tournament details, and registering your team can be completed by emailing Easter_Seals_Shootout@yahoo.com We are going to try and have shirts made again, thanks a great deal we get from "Academy of Awards" in Peoria. We have to have the shirt order placed by Feb 18. Any registrations received after Feb 18 will not be eligible for shirts. Divisions and brackets will be determined based on the mix of registrations received. Again this tournament is for charity and the gym space was graciously donated by Eastside so we hope to have a fun and competitive day of basketball while raising money for a GREAT cause.
