It has almost been a year since I brought my beloved first animal to his vet for the last time. I made an appointment for my 3 year old cat to be seen for an ear infection. That was it, and he ended up dead.

The doctor gave my cat some sort of shot to help his ear infection (I couldn't tell you which shot; considering all records are handwritten and entirely illegible). My poor cat IMMEDIATELY had a reaction. Fell over, couldn't hold his own body up, foaming at the mouth excessively and had a bowel movement. I brought him back inside to Dr. Kurt and was told his reaction was "normal", and to just take him home and let him rest.

On the car ride home, my cat yowled the whole time while foaming and shaking. When I returned home, I tried to let him out of his carrier. He was unable to move, and just plopped over on the floor. He wouldn't eat, drink, or go in the litter box. I called the vet immediately.

They told me to give it some time. I gave it hours, and still no improvements. He remained in the same spot on the floor. I called back, and they then said I should bring him back in (I basically demanded it after they tried to brush it off as nothing). The doctor decided to give him a shot to "counteract" the reaction.

The next day, I still hadn't seen improvements. Still not moving, eating, drinking, and by this point- still no urinating/bowel movements. I called the vet, yet again, and demanded my cat be seen. This time, the doctor finally decided to do some blood work. He told me he'd call me the next day, and never did.

Unfortunately, it was too late. Another day goes by, and my cat was still rapidly declining. By the time I had brought him to an emergency vet- it was too late. He began seizing and had gone into kidney failure. I was left with no choice but to euthanize him. My 3 year old cat. Who only had an ear infection, and suffered his last days due to complete negligence on behalf of his vet.

We took our little 10 year old...

We took our little 10 year old Pomeranian Dog in to Dr. Kurt. Our little guy was on death's bed. Dr. Kurt tok one look at him as I brought him in and shook his head. He's in bad shape. He has lost most of his muscle mass in his back. He has kidney failure. I was devestated to say the least. We left him with Dr. Kurt and he started him on an IV for dehydration, did blood work and what ever else that needed to be done. We brought Zeke home at night and had to take him back each day for more IV fluids. The blood work came back showing that he was diabetec. Dr Kurt started him on insulin and an antibotic. We again brought him home each night. For the first couple of nights he would just lay there. The evening of the 2nd day he got up and walked around a little and started to eat. The fourth day when we went back to see Dr Kurt he was walking good and had gained 2 lbs. Dr Kurt called him his little miracle dog. And It was truely an miracle. He is continuely doing well. Dr Kurt is a compassionate Dr. He cares so much about his little patients and also their owners. I would reccomend him to anyone who wants excellent care for their pets.
