Founded in 1882, the company operates a major quarry operation plant, more than five cement plants and over two deep water import terminals in Blubber Bay and British Columbia, Canada. The company also has subsidiaries that are comprised of ready-mix, aggregate, packaged materials and paving companies. Ash Grove Cement Company offers a variety of cements, such as Type I, Type I-II, Type III and Type II-V. Its brands include Geocem and Durapoz. In addition, the company provides hydraulic cement that is used in sealing water and gas pockets and setting casing during the drilling and repair of wells. It is located in Durkee, Ore.
