Dr Livingston has over 40 years of private practice experience.is chair of the faculty in the Psychoanalytic Center of the Carolinas, and has an adjunct clinical appointment in the Duke Medical Center Department of Psychiatry. Assessment and treatment are offered for anxiety, depressive disorders, stressful life events, dysfunctional life patterns, attention deficit disorders, separation/individuation issues adolescence, transitional life situations (adolescent and adult), and acute situational reactions. Following the initial evaluation, the treatment plan that most effectively addresses the needs of the individual is discussed and decided upon. All therapy options are undertaken in a respectful, confidential setting. Most insurance plans cover these services. Clinical supervision for mental health professionals is available on a short or long-term basis. Inquiries can be made by telephoning the office.
