The staff took wonderful care of my dog when he was sick. It is nice to know I can take him there in an emergency and he will be well taken care of.

I've been taking my dogs here for several years and I always make sure people in Douglasville know about Kay Animal Hospital because they are so great!
0One of the things I like best about this animal hospital is the ease in getting my dog in there for an appointment. They're really flexible in scheduling and overall just really friendly people.

Dr. Kay is really a caring veterinarian. I've been bringing pets her for several years and I wouldn't trust anyone else like him. There's a level of care and trust that makes me feel comfortable with them here.

If I can give zero stars I would. This vet killed my cat in his greedy, arrogant quest to increase my bill. I brought my cat in for an enema and xray due to constipation. This vet unilaterally decided, without discussing with me or getting my consent, to anesthetize my 17yo cat and clean his teeth. I never, ever would have agreed to this as I am fully aware of the risks. This greedy bastar* did whatever he wanted to do with no regard to my feelings or opinion. My cat died and never regained consciousness from the anesthesia. Then, to add insult to injury, he lied to the BBB and my CC company when they investigated my dispute. He said he had discussed the anesthesia and dentistry with me and I had consented. He is a liar, a thief and a greedy murderer. Do not take your pets here if you love them and want them back alive and healthy.

- Kay Animal Hospital is a well established, full-service small animal/exotic veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local specialty practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in house x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor climate controlled boarding kennels. Our feline boarders are housed in their own area of the hospital away from the main runs. We only take appointments for surgery, boarding, grooming, and our exotic animals. For everything else, walk-ins are welcome. Emergency Clinics: Kay Animal Hospital is now taking emergency calls, primarily Monday - Thursday and on some weekends. If your pet is injured after normal business hours please do not hesitate to call 770.865.5800.
