I had a coupon for $ 50 off a brake job for Midas (which is the only reason I chose them). I requested that they replace my front brakes. Almost $ 400 dollars later......After they, supposedly, put new brakes on my vehicle, I began to hear this awful squealing around the front of my vehicle (as if the brakes were going out). So, I took my car back to Midas and asked them why does it sound like by brakes are whistling and scrubbing when I just had them replaced. So, they looked at my car and advised that my calibers were going out and had the audacity to try and charge me $500 dollars to replace them. Well...of course I left the business without allowing them to tare my car up again. I took my car to Jim Whaley's the next day. They informed me that the brakes Midas placed on my car were junk and something about my rotors not being turned before the new brakes were applied (I'm not familiar with the mechanic lingo).
