      Founded in 1970, Alacare Home Health & Hospice is a family-owned and operated home health agency. It provides skilled nursing, rehabilitative, palliative and hospice care services. The agency maintains a team of nurses, home care aides, physical and occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, social workers, medical nutritionists, diabetes educators and chaplains. Alacare Home Health & Hospice offers assessment, disease state management teaching, urinary catheter insertion and maintenance, wound care management and infusion therapy services. It also provides medical equipment, canes and walkers, semielectric hospital beds, patient lifts, wheelchairs, raised toilet seats, transfer benches and shower chairs.
