We started coming to see Doc Long in 1999. We loved him and were nervous when he retired; but Dr. Pappas has been really great. Our beloved Siamese cat was so sick with liver failure back in 2010. Dr. Pappas kept him there, treating him for several days. She called me every day to keep me informed. When they had done all they could do, she said let's send him home and see if being in his familiar environment with his loving family will help. He came home and began to eat and drink on his own. His eyes turned back to beautiful bright blue. Dr. Pappas gave us five more wonderful years with Sammy, the lover kitty. The staff at Pet Med Center really care and understand how important pets are to their humans. Love this place!

I have to agree w everyone else who says Dr Pappas is compassionate & caring. I live an hour away too, have tried some Milford vets, and have always come back to Dr Pappas. I can't say enough . . . she's my vet unless I move out of DE.

We have used this facility for years and we were not sure if we would ever find a vet as compassionate as Dr. Long but we found Dr. Papas to be his equal. A great vet and staff!

Dr P recently had to put my 13 yo German shepherd for me. They were all very compassionate,but it is disturbing that they didn't send out a sympathy card. I know other med. Centers do, even give a paw plastering no charge. But this med.center gives nothing.

We recently chose Dr. Pappas to care for our little dog. Our little boy Binger went to her the last few months of his life. He had bladder cancer since 2012 when he had been seeing Healing Hands. We became so frustrated with their lack of compassion that we left even when it might have been more on him. We felt so fortunate to have found Dr. Pappas and her concern and compassion for us and our little boy. The trouble we had with diagnosis and pain meds, Dr. Pappas took care of and we were able to have more quality time with Binger that we would never had got with the other vet. Her prices are very fair and her staff is very friendly and helpful. It is well worth the drive to Pet Medical Center in Delmar De., as a truly great vet and clinic is almost impossible to find. She has been a blessing to us and we hope you will take our advice, it hurts us to think we didn't find her sooner.

Dr. Pappas is wonderful. We drive 45 minutes with a dog that always gets car sick just to see her. Staff is always friendly and caring towards animals. She takes her time and has a genuine interest in your pet.

Dr. Pappas came highly recommended. I live in Lewes, and it was well worth the extra drive to see her. Her and her staff are the best -- very caring and very helpful!!!!

Dr Pappas as always has helped me out , She has been taking care of my two Great Danes for four years, She is a Great Lady ,carring and so good with every animal i see her with BIg thumbs up to her.

Hard to find anyone as caring as the Doctor and her staff.. My dogs immediately recognized Dr. Pappas and her staff as friendly ..Never saw such waggly tails ! The doc and staff also calm your personal fears when something urgent happens. It is a rare person, much less someone who is so well educated, who gives gentle care to the pets we have. I came from a background of living with zoo infants who needed to be placed with a part-time adoptive "parent" My mother over 60 years ago adopted and cared for animals that our zoo couldn't care for.. And I have inherited my love for animals. This fantastic DVM is so caring she treats every animal with the love most of us have for our offspring ! I have a dog who is very afraid of humans-- he was a rescue and he realized on his very first vist that this lady was his friend right away! I thought his wagging tail would fall off !! Going to the vet is a pleasure for all of my pets. BTW her staff is also very knowledgeable and very caring..

Joanna is a wonderful, caring, capable person. She saw our puppy on an urgent basis, without appointment and without us even being a client. We immediately changed to her as our Vet and have also changed our other dog over to her office. I can only give highest compliments to her.

Dr. Pappas is a treasure. We have been clients for four years, having five adopted, special-needs dogs under her care. Preventative care and behavioral guidance has been timely and accurate. On two separate occasions, she guided and counselled us through the lost of two of our elderly, beloved dogs. On another occasion, she performed a procedure on our Chow experiencing a life-threating bout of the blot. This occurred late in the day and went after-hours, while she patiently cared and observed him. She called the next day to check on his status. Her staff is efficient, understanding and caring. We are confident that our three currently happy, healthy dogs will remain that way thanks to Dr. Pappas, who inspires our trust with her knowledge and guidance, demonstrated skill, and compassion.

she neutered my bunny and it was very successful. She loves and cares about animals there is dogs and cats walking freely in the waiting room. Neutering a bunny is dangerous and she personally called me the day before and told me it was dangerous she didnt try to just take my money and not care.

Dr. Pappas is thorough, takes her time with our pets and genuinely cares about their welfare. The staff is efficient and capable of answering my questions.

I love this doctor & his staff. They truly care about the animals they are treating.
