Poor customer service; called to inquire about repair and was told "I don't have tie for that." Why are you in business then?

Best place n Delaware. The service is very personal which is important to me. The work was done in a timely manner and the price was very fair. What impressed me the most was when I got home and found out he had removed our expired antivirus software and installed new free one. He never mentioned this extra work that he had done. What a nice surprise. He has a new customer for life.

Provided by YP.comI don't usually write reviews, but I stumbled across this page and had to say something. I don't know what the situation is with these other two people, but my experience with John (DelComp) has been exactly the opposite of what these people describe. I've taken all my computers there for the last 6 years, and have bought at least 2 used laptops and a desktop from him. I can only remember once or twice in all that time there was any kind of issue. And each time he went way out of his way to help me. And to tell you the truth, I'm not even sure either of those times the problem ahd anything to do with what he did, but he stepped up anyway. I even remember one time I went in to pick up a system, and he was reattaching a key on a laptop for a lady, and he didn't even charge her anything for it. That doesn't sound like a "crook" to me.

I took my desktop in to be serviced when I thought the hard drive was going bad. I left it to be diagnosed afraid I would have to spend 2 or 3 hundred dollars to have the drive replaced. The guy called me the next day and informed me that my hard drive was fine, and that he was able to fix the problem with just a few minutes of work. 30 bucks later I had my system back and it worked great. The main reason I wanted to leave a review is because of how honest the guy was. He knew I was ready to pop for a new hard drive, and instead of taking advantage of the situation he was honest and save me a boatload of money. I think that deserves some appreciation. I'll definitely do business with him again.

Provided by YP.comDO NOT GO TO THIS GUY! we took our computer to get an administrative unlock done and he said it would take a couple of hours, we called couple hrs later and he said a couple more. We didn't hear anything back so we went there and as he's walking out the door, locking up, we asked for our computer and it was like an inconvenience for him to get it. We got it home and it still didn't work AND it was WORSE! So we took it back and he even said it wasn't working right, and we should wipe the hard drive and reinstall windows, well we had windows XP professional on it, but all of a sudden it had window XP on it AND all of our stuff(pictures too) was wiped off-GONE..SO thats what he already did and won't admit it, he swore to us all he did was unlock it, and told us he didn't know whats wrong it, so he didn't fix anything AND he got paid 25.00 to not fix it. He didn't even offer our $ back, or to help find out for sure whats wrong. Now 25.00 later and no computer, Im surprised at how unprofessional he was by not offering our $ back and how he made it worse! CROOKED, CROOKED, CROOK!!!!!!! I have to use my sister's computer just to make this comment....
This is one of those situations where trying to help someone out ends up a regrettable effort. It's also a shame that it's almost always the dissatisfied people who leave reviews.This person is obviously angry as they have spent a great deal of time writing a number of bad reviews over a $25 service that was in fact rendered. If further service had been necessary, I would have been happy to resolve them, however this customer was more interested in being hostile and surly rather than cooperative in resolving the issue. I regret his dissatisfaction, and I assure all my potential customers that I have hundreds upon hundreds of satisfied clients who will attest that we are more than willing to go way above and beyond to be helpful. This customer was in fact initially the recipient of that kind of service, even though he may have been unaware of it. (I wasn't charging them additional for the quick turnaround). Even at this point, I'm willing to try to help, despite his efforts to damage my reputation.

M Computer Center is the BEST computer store in town. they have the best staff Lowest deals in town and they have great Apple Laptops. They rock and thats why you should go there. They will help you in any way possible ( except not cell phones)
I have been going to Delcomp LTD for many years. I have purchased 3 computers from Delcomp and have had many repairs done to our older computers. I have always been very satisfied with the service and the price. Delcomp is always able to diagnose the problem and fix it in a timely manner. I recommend Delcomp to all my friends and family. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
I have used Delcomp for my computer needs since John opened in Delaware. I have found John to be knowledgeable and responsive to my organization's computer needs.

Provided by YP.comI had the owner order a new keyboard for my laptop. He took and cashed a $20.00 deposit, saying it would take less than 1 week to get it in. That was 1 month ago. He won't return my phone calls.

I wish I would have listened to the other reviews of this shady business. The day I walked in, the owner was sitting on his stool watching a movie. Clearly, he had work to be completed with all the laptop sitting there to be worked on!
DO NOT USE
Admittedly, the ball got dropped initially in responding to this customer. However, once communication was made we explained that we had the keyboard in and were prepared to install it. While she wasn't informed of this at the time, the decision had been made to install the keyboard at no cost, including the refund of her initial 20 deposit. When she came in she obviously had a chip on her shoulder and immediately began on a tirade, making odd accusations and demanding evidence of all kinds of unrelated items. Eventually she was informed that we would be happy to effect the repairs but were not interested in arguing. At that point she demanded her $20 be refunded, which we did gratefully. We do our best to give all of our customers the best possible service. As a small operation things do on occasion get out of control and mistakes may happen, which we also try to go above and beyond to resolve to the customer's satisfaction. Unfortunately, that isn't always possible, but we do try.

I do not recommend this business at all. I ordered a power cord for my computer and it took over three weeks to come in. Had I known it was going to take this long I would have ordered it myself. I wanted a power cord from Toshiba, but when I arrived to pick it up he had four different cords laying out on the counter that all looked a like and had no idea which one was mine. Poor organization skills and customer service. He wanted me to bring my computer to figure out what cord was mine this is just ridiculous I will not go back there for anything.
