Nestled in the mountains and overlooking Phillips Lake, THE LUCERNE INN is in one of the most beautiful locations in Maine. Located right at the Inn is a picturesque golf course, a large outdoor swimming pool, beautiful gazebos and outdoor patios. Very few people are able to drive by this stunning 200-year-old Inn without stopping. And the fine dining and accommodations, stunning scenery and excellent New England hospitality make it worth stopping for . . . again and again.
Located conveniently between Bangor and Bar Harbor, The Lucerne Inn is only 15 minutes from downtown Bangor and access to great shopping, entertainment, museums and other attractions. The Inn is also just 15 minutes from Ellsworth and less than an hour from Bar Harbor and beautiful Acadia National Park. Whether visiting Bangor or heading Downeast consider lodging with us.
With antique furniture and modern amenities, our beautifully appointed affordably priced rooms are designed to help our guests unwind. Most of our accommodations boast a view of the lake, a gas burning fireplace, and a private bath with a standard-size tub with whirlpool jets and heated towel bars.
