I walked into this bakery, almost closing time, and this worker behind the counter cleaning the slicer (has a tattoo behind her left ear) talks loud about her son, how he wished he was with her this past weekend, i keep amd saying: excuse me, excuse me, she can't hear me, then when she finally does hear me, she apologized, turn around, and continued doing what she was doing. Then she says, wait a minute, then I wait. They are closing tje door, starts talking about a customer that just left the bakery, who purchase some breads and she always comes in before closing. No one cares that i am here, I hear them talk, but yet no one is waiting on me.... worst customer service ever. I wish the owner would se this review. He deserves better.

DIB has been a fixture in our family since my three brothers and I were kids (the 60's). While my bros. lived and died by their pizza, I loved their fresh bread and apricot/raspberry filled kolache (pastries). I don't live in the Dearborn area anymore, but I visit often. 90% of the time I stop there to pick up something for mom or bring back to my home state. Their stuffed cabbage is superb and they have other fresh made foods (specials change each day). Take out pizzas are quite large. The dough, while thick crust, is not as heavy as other places. They have a great selection of deli meats and pastries, and there is a grocery section in the back that stocks lots of authentic Italian ingredients. I wish I could clone them to take back out west with me.

They sell pizza dough balls. Great fresh bread. Yummy assorted cookies. I don't know that this is a five star place but the 1 star ratings are way off base. I haven't tried the hot food but I imagine it's great cuz the products I do buy keep me coming back.
