I always call around to compare rates on having my automobile repaired. I called three local businesses in the Davison area and they all were about the same price. When I called back to one of the other auto repair businesses to schedule an appointment, they said they were too busy and couldn't look at it until another week, they recommended going to Muffler Man. Muffler Man not only did they allow me drop off my vehicle the night before, they called me to confirm the next morning and quoted me an even better price then they originally did. My car was not promised to be done the next day, but it was, and at about 10 a.m. I received a call. My experience maybe a great one and stars may have just lined up, but this business exceeded my expectations and that in these days and times is well worth a great review!!! I will be back.

I was told by a nearby dealership that i needed my brakes replaced (even though they seemed fine to me.) After getting estimates, i took my 2013 Chevy Cruze here. I watched an employee drive it out of the lot as i was being picked up (so i know it was test driven.) I get a call telling me that they drove it, and took it apart, and found that my brake pads were still at over 65%. When i went to pick it up, i asked how much the inspection was. The man at the counter (i wish i had gotten his name), told me that there was no charge. For a company to be honest, when i was ready to spend the money for new brakes and rotors (and wouldn't have been the wiser), says a lot. This is the place i will go from here on out.

This muffler man is NOTORIOUS for price switching, bad recommendations, and suggesting you need something fixed that isn't broke to begin with. I assume the only positive reviews on here are from their employee's or management. My family and I have lived in davison since I was born 23 years ago and everyone in my family and even all my friends will not go there. It's the inside joke within davison "if you wanna get duped take your ride to that muffler man up the road". Example 1). I needed a new sway bar. I dropped my car off their and they said one price (I don't remember as this was well over a year ago). My mother went to go pick it up and they said I price that was 60 dollars more with a nice list of things my newer model car needed.... Yea right lol. Example two) my uncle took his car up there to stop a noise from the front left wheel. After the third trip and an angry uncle he lost it because they had given him the run around worth over 400 dollars. More examples but I'm done. Save ur self the trouble. Many other great service shops around

I have never been to this Muffler Man before but I am so glad that I did today. They saved me $370! I had a loud muffler and took it to another muffler shop in flint. I had them do my front brakes and check the muffler. They quoted me $400 to fix the muffler. I have the written quote in my hand. I told them no thanks and waited until after the holidays to deal with the problem. It did get quite loud the longer I put it off. Today I took my car to Muffler Man in Davison and was quoted $40. I ended up 30 minutes later with a quiet car and $30 less in my pocket! I will go back AND send my sons to them. Thank you to the young honest man who fixed my car!
