Mover's Choice

A TOTAL NIGHTMARE! And, so not what I expected! First, they were 4 hours late to my home. Only 1 of the movers... (More) A TOTAL NIGHTMARE! And, so not what I expected! First, they were 4 hours late to my home. Only 1 of the movers actually was semi-gentle with my belongings. I was told straight out by the other mover they "expected" a tip. My newly cleaned carpet was left dirty by their shoes because they pulled up their rugs that were to be left down during the move; dirty handprints were left on my walls and on my furniture; my brand new armoire was broken and other furniture was left scratched and dented. Also, numerous marked boxes were placed in the wrong room. (It wasn't discovered until I started unpacking because they were at the bottom of 3 to 4 stacked high.) I bought them lunch and didn't receive a thank you, other than them leaving their crumpled up wrappers on my deck. You could tell they didn't want to do their job and didn't care about my belongings! My advice? CHOOSE ANOTHER MOVER!  (Hide)
