They don't know what they are doing. I took my car there, told them what needed to be replaced, and they told me I was wrong. They then went on to tell me what was "really wrong" with the vehicle, at a price of twice the original estimate. I said "Fine just fix it ill pay it." I then get a phone call saying they replaced the part, and the car still had the same problem as before, and upon closer inspection the part I had originally told them was the issue did in fact need to be replaced. Hm... They then offered to replace the part for cost, with no labor. I agreed to the offer. After 3 hours I called back to see what progress they had made on the car, and was told it was finished. I asked what the final cost was and found out it was almost $300 over what I was told it would be. Not only that, but it still did the exact same thing it was doing before I brought it in. Come to find out they tried charging me $133 for a part that was $47 from Napa, the place they got the part from. (I saw the invoice reciept) After pointing this out and making it clear I was not stupid, they dropped the price of the part to the $47 it really cost. On top of it all, they charged me $60 for the alignment I specifically told them not to perform due to the frustration I had already dealt with. All in all I paid for a service and part my car did not need, then got to deal with them trying to get more money out of me. I will NEVER go to another Midas location again.
