I engaged them thru the Yellow Pages on 2 Jan 2012 on two days notice, wherein I wanted two good firefighters who could move two loaded UHaul vans into my daughters new house (I have a bad back). What was important to me was first, they show up on time (they did); they have a good, positive attitude (they did) and lastly, they work very hard all the time (they did). Brooks and Bubba (really!) stayed after it in the three hour move. They brought the right equipment and did not overcharge us. I recommend them highly...the price was $275 TOTAL TOTAL which included 2.5 hours and the trip charge. We went over 1/2 hour over so the charge was $315. At one point, while I was gone, the guys actually backed the moving truck into the driveway which helped AND they knew how to unhook the car trailer so this reflected a positive attitude.

Great move from my uptown Condo to my home in highland park, which had been remodeled and was the reason for me not living in it at the time. Will use again as i suspect this will not be the last home i live in.

Terrible! Late! Slow! Attitude! Careless! Broke something. Said owner would call soon to tell what they'd do. Never heard from him. Will never use again.

Called and scheduling was easy. Movers showed up on time and began moving right after a quick walk through. They had the whole living room packed up in the trailer before I was done signing the paperwork!!!! These guys are fast and they are good. I have used movers before that have carelessly beat up my walls and broke many pieces of furniture. These guys seem very careful and had absolutely no damages. I was amazed at how fast they were able to move my 4 bedroom 2 story house. The leader of the crew was a firefighter and seemed to work real well with his crew. I understand that they try to have a firefighter on each move but sometimes they are all working at the firestation and the other full time workers will show up. I wouldn't see a problem if it was just them. They are all very professional. I was a relief to see they were all clean and spoke english. I would use them again anytime and will recommend them to all my friends. Thank you 3 Alarm movers, you saved my day!
