(More) I had to contact the Better Business Bureau to attempt to recoup the money First Merit owed me. It is now almost February and they still have not paid. They have lied to me on several occasions, going so far as to tell me the money they owed had been mailed. They told me this on more than one occasion. I have yet to receive it and this has been going on since July. I would encourage anyone to read the full report with the Better Business Bureau as First Merit now has a file with them. (Hide)

You definitely do not want to go anywhere else for your mortgage needs!!!! Firstmerit Financial delivered on every aspect of the loan process that they promised. They were able to get me into... (More) Firstmerit Financial delivered on every aspect of the loan process that they promised. They were able to get me into a better rate than I had, lower my payment and get me the cash out I needed to consolidate some of my high interest accounts. Thanks. You guys are the best!!!
