The Practice Columbia Ear, Nose, Throat & Allergy is a single specialty practice founded in 1983 by Dr. Wm. Robert Stewart. Our physicians and staff are committed to providing the highest quality care for your health needs related to the head and neck, allergy, and sleep medicine. To better serve Middle Tennessee, we offer surgical services at St. Thomas Hospital, Williamson Medical Center, Williamson Surgery Center, Cool Springs Surgery Center, Maury Regional Spring Hill Surgery Center, and Maury Regional Hospital. The Physicians There are currently two physicians affiliated with Columbia Ear, Nose, Throat & Allergy . By combining compassionate attention to your problems and utilizing the latest and most up to date technologies, we aim to restore you to your optimum health status. Dr. Wm. Robert Stewart received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Tennessee in Memphis in 1979. He went on to complete his internship and residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Tennessee hospitals in Memphis in 1983. Dr. Marc D. Rosenthal is Board Certified in Otoloaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Board Eligible in Sleep Medicine and specially trained in both allergy and minimally invasive thyroid/parathyroid and sinus surgery. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida in 1995 and received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Miami in 1999. Dr. Rosenthal completed his Otolaryngology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He gained additional pediatric training at the world-renowned Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, where he learned to perform painless tonsillectomies. Dr Rosenthal has authored many articles in the field and is recognized as one of the first physicians in the United States to perform the Balloon Sinuplasty procedure, a less invasive alternative to traditional endoscopic sinus surgery.
