I use National ONLY. It is efficient, pleasant, and very well organized. It has been at least 5 years since I used another company. BY-passing the counter is the best. The drop off has always been easy and fast

Love renting from National Car Rental. Wouldn't rent from anyone else. The Emerald Isle is great no waiting. However, when we arrived in Cleveland it was 9 degrees. Coming from Florida you can imagine the shock. There were two cars left in the Emerald Isle and the one we picked was locked. The attendant was very helpful and quickly gave us an upgrade so we didn't have to wait in the cold until he was able to find the keys to the car we selected. Great Customer Service!

I arrived at 11:30 pm on December 23 as a result of flight delays and found the exact vehicle I needed on the Emerald Isle at a great price. National really came through for me.

i.e., A local favorite, or hI have a wife who breastfeeds and two young girls (4 month old and a 2 year old). My two year old has Pediatric Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, so travel for us is quite an adventure. The last two time before this rental, I selected from the Emerald Aisle, as a National Car Emerald Club member, and was able to get a Chevy traverse; this vehicle is perfect for out needs (size, functionality, and convenience). However, this time I did not see anything that worked for us on the Aisle; I walked around distraught and not knowing what to do. I approached the associate on the lot and let him know my problem. He allowed me to grab a vehicle from the premium Aisle (a Chevy Traverse) for the minimum upgrade fee (11$ per day extra). I guess I can't expect it to be free, and he was helpful to find what I needed, and showed genuine care and concern for my situation. I am just holding out until I meet the requirements to be upgraded to the Premium Aisle. I appreciate National's help and concern for my family's needs. I will stay a customer until that changes; I hope they are always willing to help.ighly recommended because

Prices are decent if you know how to go about getting a good price cars are usually pretty dirty water spots all over the windows all over the interior employees not too friendly
