      The installers Juan, Steven, Austin, Brett, Sonny and John were excellent. There were delays getting the windows from the manufacturer but very happy with the windows and installation.

      Had quotes from 3 companies, and their sales staff at Armortech were the most knowledgeable and professional. Installers worked very hard and were very nice. They had been with the company for over 8 years. Needed to replace a broken window and they came out and replaced it for free. Highly recommended them

      The sales man was very detailed and knowledgeable, the installation took only 5 hours for my entire house, the inspector barely looked at the job because he knew it was installed by Armortech. The office staff was very professional, helpful and always had answers for me.

      Beware the window cut and install. The first window they installed was about 5' wide by 30" tall. They had done the job measurements. This window was installed with an easy 1 1/2 inch if air showing on each side with 3 aluminum screws holding it in. I asked about the space and was told that they would fill it with foam. These are full hurricane rated windows that to me would have blown right in the way they were being installed. After talking to management the window was pulled and the sides filled with two layers of 3/4 inch plywood before screwing back in. Beware the install and a company that makes windows too small for the hole to make them easier to install.

      Owner came by and gave us a quote. Was extremely nice, honest and straightforward. Workers were extremely neat and polite. Did a great job and had excellent attention to detail. And last but not least, the folks at the business, especially Andrew were always available and very helpful.

      Armortech Windows and Doors was established when David Yount and Jeff James took their 35 years combined experience and decided to open their doors in March 2008. David was in charge of sales and marketing and Jeff in charge of installation and permits. The first office was located at 1610 North Hercules Avenue in Clearwater and consisted of 2 offices and a warehouse. During the first year, Armortech had a total of 118 customers. Armortech expanded their showroom and warehouse space at the original location twice to accommodate the business growth. In December of 2015 David and Karen Yount purchased the building and grounds at 1872 North Hercules Avenue in Clearwater and the building was completely remodeled to be the new home for Armortech Windows and Doors. In March 2017, Andrew Petersen (David and Karens nephew) was added as a certified Building Contractor for Armortech. Andrew also runs the sales force. Armortech sold over $6 million dollars in 2016, and in June 2017 we celebrated our first million dollar month in sales. Over 80 customers a month hire Armortech to complete their home renovation project, upgrade their home to hurricane rated specifications or to purchase Hunter Douglas products. Armortechs success can also be attributed to vendor relationships such as our partnership with ABC Supply in Hudson. In March 2017 the Armortech Windows and Doors logo was placed on the ABC car for the annual Indy car race in St. Petersburg. ABC selected Armortech due to our strong relationship and sales volume over the past 10 years. Armortech has grown steadily throughout the years by providing quality product and professional installations. Armortech currently employs 47 people and reinvests in new territories and projects to expand the business. David Yount as President and sole owner continues to be at the helm of our service, growth and success.
