Tom Garrett has been in the concrete cutting, coring, and removal business for over 30 years.
In 1978 Tom and his wife Tracey opened Garrett Concrete Coring & Sawing, Inc. With an innovative approach in the concrete cutting, coring, and removal business they were able to grow their company from a small office in their own home to now owning over 40 vehicles, numerous pieces of equipment, a staff of over 25 employees, and owning their own office and yard.
Over the years Tom worked diligently to build Garrett Concrete to what it is today. In 1986 to increase business he purchased All Western Concrete Cutting Inc. Then in 1994 he wanted to expand the curb cutting division so he purchased National Kurb Kut of CA.
Garrett Concrete’s employees are long time employees. Employees are given the chance to grow within the company and are cross trained to expand their knowledge of the industry. The company has employees that have actually started out sweeping in the shop and now they are class A drivers operating equipment. The average length of service of a Garrett Concrete Coring & Sawing, Inc. employee is over 10 years.
