5/1/11 -6/20/11 In 90 degree heat our home warranty company contacts same day heating and air. First let me tell you there is nothing same day about this company. We got charged a $100 upfront fee, for a technican to come out and take apart the wrong unit. That's right folks, he made a list of repairs needed to a working, fully functional unit. Turned out we needed a new fan motor, which we were told would be installed the next day. A week and a half later ( in 90 degree heat) i was told it would take another week before someone could come back out. I called up my local lowes and picked up the part that day. Not only is this company terrible, unreliable, unprofessional, and unfit to operate a business, the owner Ian is rude and arrogant. This company is far from local. They get fed business by large out of state home warranty companies, who care nothing about the quality of the work or those doing it. Don't ever go with this company for anything!

I have used this company several times now, each time attended to in a timely and efficient manner. They came recommended by a fellow physician. The prices were fair and the service men amiable. Perhaps the most compelling reason I found to use this company was the first time we met service man Steve. He told us that he had known the owner for years and waited as long to be hired by him once a position became available, due to the owners honesty and 'no nonsense' approach to doing business, which, according to Steve, was hard to come by in an electrical company. I suppose we were compelled by this man's loyalty to his boss, and appreciated his sincerity.

On one of the coldest days so far in 2011 my heating plant goes DEAD. Called Same Day Heating . I talked to a real nice lady explaining the situation. She said she'd get some one out by 11 am, it was 9 then. At 10:55am Steve showed up. He took 15 minutes to diagnosis the problem, call the supplier for parts availability and have an estimate ready. I OKed the estimate, Steve left saying he'd be back in the afternoon. At 12 noon he returned with the parts and had them installed, tested and was gone before 12:40. Now that's what I call GREAT service. Would I use them again? YES! They'll be the only ones I call in the future for HAVC work. They are a five star operation in my opinion!

Having just moved into the area, I found myself in need of an AC and furnace. After contacting several local companies, I settled on Same Day Heating and Air (primarily for price and availability). I found the office personnel helpful and friendly, having an estimator call me within 2 hours. After a brief discussion he advised me it would be best to have a site visit in order to give an accurate quote. He came out that afternoon, made his recommendations and pricing and answered the many questions I had. After I made my decision, he advised me the men would be out the next morning to install the unit. True to his word, I received a call from the tech the next morning saying they would be at my home in about 30 minutes. Their techs performed in a competent and business like manner and after 3-4 hours I had my new system installed. I received the same courteous and prompt service when I called for a fall maintenance checkup. I wish all the vendors I've had to deal with were as proficient

Unbelievably poor service. Not only are they NOT same day service, but after not showing up when they said they would, they hung up on my husband, saying (and I quote) "Well go call another company" when he called to find out where they were. So, our home is now 88 degrees, my husband lost a day because he called off to be here when they said they would be here (between 9a-12p) and they lied when they said they called his cell phone twice, because he not only had the phone on his person, but there was no message left and no missed call indication. Whatever you do, CALL SOMEONE ELSE (these guys are not with the BBB either).
