      Operational since 1949 (started in Mesa, AZ), Temple Beth Sholom of the East Valley is an Conservative Egalitarian synagogue that offers a range of community services. The organization provides a variety of spiritual and educational programs on rituals and customs. It works to enhance the social growth of individuals and families. TBS-EV maintains a Religious/Hebrew school for children, has active Adult Clubs, conducts classes & workshop year-round, and has youth groups. A Judaica Gift Shop (non-profit retail store) carries a full range of gifts, religious items, and books. The community coordinates social and fundraising events. In addition, it provides several membership options. TBS-EV is a member of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. Sholom Preschool is affiliated with TBS-EV and is a state approved pre-school operating on Weekdays on the TBS-EV campus.
