The Cambridge Central School District (C.C.S.) is a rural school where the students are housed in a single building, which is partitioned into two areas, one for the elementary school (K-6) and the other for grades 7-12. The district is composed of 104 square miles overall and a population of 6,621 residents which serves students from eight different towns. Cambridge has continuously scored in the upper echelons of the school rankings for the Albany area earning the rank of 11th of 85 school districts considered. The School is the focal point of the community, both for educational and recreational reasons. We are continuously striving for academic excellence.
