Driven by a need to lower the numbers of animals euthanized at the Franklin County Animal Control Shelter, the SPCA of Franklin County was formed in 2003. At the same time we also wanted to help other rescues and shelters across the state by providing a resource that would allow them to work with others in their county or city with the same goals. We developed our North Carolina Animal Welfare Directory. Our main goal is to reduce animal over population in Franklin County through spay & neuter education and services. We hope you will join with us on attaining this goal. Consider a donation to help us continue our services!
