      My father spent his last days there in the "Dove Program". He was very well cared for and his last days were happy. The (End of Life) "Dove Program" is wonderful. Our family was able to be with Dad around the clock, snacks were provided, Dad had a private room with an extra bed so we could spend the night. The staff was very attentive to all his needs and quick to respond to any request. I thank everyone for all they did for my Dad, i was a comfort to know he was well cared for.

      We also offer our residents "theme" activities and celebrations. Therapy can be provided on an inpatient or outpatient basis. Our wheel chair accessible bus provides transportation for recreational outings. Join us for trips to department stores, fishing trips, theme parks, local events, or just a "mystery ride". Our kind and compassionate social service staff have the answers to all of your admission questions. They are ready to assist you through the admission process. Tours are welcome and encouraged. Brooksville Healthcare Center accepts Medicare, Medicaid, VA, BCBS, Humana, Quality Health Plan, Tricare/Humana Military, United Healthcare, Universal Healthcare, Wellcare/Staywell, Physician Health Plan, Hospice, private pay, and many insurances and managed care payment sources. Resident stays can be for short-term rehabilitation, long term care, or respite care. Judy Kosh, Community Liaison, and her staff can be contacted at 352-796-6701 or by direct fax at 352-796-8809 to answer any and all of your questions regarding admissions to Brooksville Healthcare Center. Rapid Recovery Unit We enhance the quality of care by maximizing the patient's independence with a focus on the discharge destination. We introduce advanced treatment options for medically complex conditions. Our layering of treatments can be very effective options for most prevalent geriatric and sub acute rehab conditions. The Rapid Recovery Unit consists of semi-private rooms and private rehabilitative suites. The private rehab suites are newly remodeled, including private bathroom, electric beds, local telephone service, wireless Internet, individual in-room refrigerators and satellite flat screen televisions. Board Certified Specialists that provide care at Brooksville Healthcare Center include Wound Management, Geriatrics: Disease Processes seen in people age 55 and older.
