Taberna de Haro serves New England"s most authentic Spanish cuisine. Tapas and entrees are served in a warm and friendly environment reminiscent of Madrid taverns. Local ingredients are enhanced by imported Spanish essentials such as olive oil, cheese, anchovies, olives, cured meats, peppers, and quince paste to name a few. The wine list is comprised of 240 wines from Spain and is one of the largest all-Spanish wine lists in the country. Chef-owner-sommelier Deborah Hansen lived in Madrid, Spain for over 8 years and is passionate about the traditional cuisine from this land where food is king. She returns to Spain yearly to research dishes and wine in order to maintain the reputation, established back in 1998, for honest Spanish food.
