KITSAP COMMUNITY RESOURCESKitsap Community Resources is located in Bremerton, Washington, and has provided services to low-income individuals in Kitsap County for over 40 years.Our mission is to create hope and opportunity for low-income Kitsap County residents by providing resources that promote self-sufficiency.Our goal is to provide stability and opportunity for those in unfortunate circumstances such as poverty, domestic violence, debilitating health, or homelessness.Our Services include:* Prenatal care * Childhood education * Housing and energy assistance* Employment and trainingOur services cover a wide range of needs that successfully achieve the ultimate goals of providing hope, opportunity, and self-sufficiency.Nobody expects to find themselves in a situation of need, but it's good to know there is a place to turn for help. KCR has been a partner in providing hope for residents of Kitsap County for over 40 years.Our mission is, "to create hope and opportunity for low-incomeKitsap County residents by providing resources that promote self-sufficiency."Call us or visit our website for more information on how we can assist you or how YOU can assist your fellow Kitsap residents in need.HEAD START - OLYMPIC EDUCATIONAL SERVICE DISTRICT 114Federally funded Head Start and Early Head Start and Washington's state funded Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) are family centered preschool programs for children from low-income families.Most children are between the ages of three and five years old, with infants and toddlers in selected sites. Full-day child care services are being made available through partnerships with community child care providers.Quality Early Childhood Education:* Multiple locations throughout Kitsap County* Prenatal through 5 years old* Services for children with special needs* Health, nutrition & family support* Transportation assistance available"Through caring partnerships with families and strong community linkages, Head Start/ECEAP/Early Head Start creates opportunities to support individual growth, self-sufficiency and family health, and wholeness."For more information,contact Olympic ESD today.
