My mom spent 1 month in the LTAC followed by 1 month in the Skilled Nursing Unit and I have nothing but good things to say about the people who worked with my mom at SDCH. The nurses, aides, therapists and doctors were all top notch. The care given was excellent and both she and I really felt like they cared about the patient and the family. Every request was met with a willingness to assist, every question answered and every concern addressed. Dr Shields was/is Fantastic! Jolene, Candi, Tiffany, Aubry, Frank, Chris, Steve, Dave, Dan, Brad, Amanda, Nikiki and everyone else at SDCH really went above and beyond what I expected. Don't be out off by the dated appearance of the facility... The people are what make SDCH #1 in the state.
