Prezza is a small ancient town in the Abruzzi region of Italy where Chef/Owner Anthony Caturano's grandmother, Elena Ferrelli Caturano, was born. Due to Prezza's mountainous landscape, residents were challenged with a limited food selection, the staples of which were pork, polenta, and vegetables. As a result, they were inspired to create unique and tasteful dishes utilizing the foods that were indigenous to their area. Prezza, the restaurant, enhances this peasant style, simple fare by incorporating foods from other regions of the Mediterranean and using a combination of time-tested recipes with Chef Caturano's expertise. This culminates in a palate pleasing, innovative cuisine that is like no other.
