There are not enough characters to describe how awful this place is. I went because I believed that the man who owns this restaurant used to or perhaps still owns the Texas Street Steakhouse in Bossier and I believe also previously owned the Country Tavern in Shreveport. The food at both of those places is really good and the service is as well. I had a horrible meal at Silver Star and the service was awful. Everyone in my part thought so as well. The servers are all very young and act like they are only interested in getting you out of there. The food is extremely overpriced, considering that it is not very tasty. One of my friends had talked with them about a catering job for her company. After she tasted the food (that she thought would be up to par with the owner's prior and/or other establishments) and saw the attitude of the staff members and how they were dressed, that is no longer a consideration.
