I have been living at Good Sam since the beginning of this year. in July we received a new cook and he was told that i am allergic to pepper and to please not use it in my food. He would constantly forget and so I went to the manager Chris and asked him to stop the pepper. He told told me no he couldn't and I would just have to put up with it....THEEEN just to show me who's boss the garlic bread was peppered too. I felt very unsafe and decided to eat in my room. Well I get only 77 dollars a month in food stamps which translates to .85 cents a meals. not much in that price range that doesn't have a ton of salt. due the choices I had at the time, I ended up in St. Luke's for 2 and a half weeks getting fluid pulled off of me (46 pounds) st. lukes refused to let me go back to your facility because they have heard from more than just me the awful living conditions in which I was. namely my nurses and care takers, even my nutritionist who took one look at the food and quit.
