Used the company a year ago to fix my Maytag washer. The repairman commented that he was leaving the company after... (More) Used the company a year ago to fix my Maytag washer. The repairman commented that he was leaving the company after our job because he was tired of Dave's Appliance forcing him to rip people off and charging double for parts. A year later I forgot he no longer worked there and called them to come out when my Maytag dryer exploded. The repairman came out, cleaned the wire leads, and hooked them back up for $120. He then said it didn't work, and told us we'd need a new circuit board which would be an additional $220. I halted the work and called Maytag, and they sent someone out to look at it. The Maytag guy came over, looked at the work, put the panel back on and the dryer worked perfectly. THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME A NEEDLESS $220. I am very angry with them and their total lack of customer service, and they almost ripped me off. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. PS, The Maytag guy heard we used Dave's Appliance and grimaced, saying they had a bad reputation in the Boise area.  (Hide)
