FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 18, 2012 Above The Barres gymnasts Turn the World Upside Down in celebration of National Gymnastics Day Berea, Ohio Gym owner Susan Barr announced today that Above The Barre Gymnastics will join forces with gymnastics clubs across the country on Sept. 22 to Turn the World Upside Down in honor of National Gymnastics Day. As part of this years National Gymnastics Day on Sept. 22, gymnasts, families, friends and enthusiasts from gymnastics clubs nationwide will turn upside down, snap a photo and share it on USA Gymnastics Facebook page and raise funds for Childrens Miracle Network. National Gymnastics Day will also celebrate the success of Team USA at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Above The Barre began operating gymnastics in the area 5 years ago. The current 14,000 sq. ft. facility has been a training center for more than 40 years! Over the years, 1,000s of kids have been trained by ATB Gymnastics in our recreation and competitive programs. We currently service over 400 children in gymnastics and 700 in the entire program. Gymnastics is a great fundamental training sport that encourages physical activity while improving self esteem and confidence! At ATB we know that gymnastics lessons are life lessons. How can you teach children to get up and try again if they never fall? Our program is designed to give our kids the confidence and motivation to want to try again! That has to be the most rewarding part of my job, seeing the smile on a childs face as they achieve that next new skill! Susan Barr Each year, USA Gymnastics celebrates National Gymnastics Day to raise exposure of the sport. Since 2001, gymnastics clubs across the country have raised more than $1.7 million for Children's Miracle Network. The funds raised are distributed to the Children's Miracle Network hospital in the clubs community. WHAT: Gymnasts from Above The Barre Gymnastics will join clubs across the country to celebrate National Gymnastics Day WHEN: Saturday, Sept. 22 at 1 p.m. ET WHERE: 1450 West Bagley Rd, Berea, Ohio Event starts at 12:30pm and finishes at 1:30pm For more information, please contact Above The Barre at 440-625-0000 or visit www.abovethebarre.com today!
