I cant say enough about the positive atmosphere at the Belmont Fred Astaire studio. They can teach someone with no musicality or dance experience and turn them into a dancer. All the instructors are very patient and encouraging, and I have taken private or group lessons with most of them at this point. Their system can actually take someone with nothing and turn it into somethingI am no longer afraid or embarrassed to be seen on the dance floor, though Im still working on the following part. I really love how I feel now.

A great place to learn ballroom dancing. The instructors are the best in the business and are there to help and guide you in every aspect of dance. A great way to meet people you have the desire to learn.

Incredible, is what this entire experience has been for me so far. Walking in that door for the first time was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. There were many unknowns to deal with. Once I walked across that threshhold I was hooked. Just getting in the door was a huge hurdle, but then I had no idea what the people would be like. Learning to dance is not about money, it is about chasing a dream. And yes dreams due come true, and the reason for that is the staff at Fred Astaire-Belmont. I have only been there for a little over three months, and I feel like I have a whole new family. The instructors are not only Professional but take that extra time to make sure that you understand, that you are getting better everytime you walk in that door. Each time that I attend a private lesson, I know I will leave that much closer to becoming a good dancer. Not many business's can say that. I have been attending FADS Belmont for over five years now. The staff are knowledgeable about all aspects of dance and passionate about teaching others how to dance. I always feel welcome at the studio whether I am going for a private lesson, a group class or one of their practice parties. Also any student is always welcome to drop in to practice or just say H1! I highly recommend FADS Belmont to anyone ? they have something for everyone!
