if you have to go to one of these places, this is the one to go to. My uncle has been here for three months now and I am happy with the progress he has made and how responsive the staff have been to him.

I have a dear friend who has been in Sherwood for only a few days and she has been ignored, left in the middle of procedures by aids, has witnessed others being left with fecal waist on them for hours even after reporting the condition. Worst nursing home ever. Dietary needs ignored; even when she's on a special diet. Please investigate!

I visit my mother here every day and can proudly say thus is the best nursing home in Baton Rouge.

The staff have been wonderful. After a stroke, their quick reaction and knowledge of my wife's condition helped to save her life. She has recovered and I am grateful for the kind treatment she receives here.

The worst place in the world you could ever subject someone you love to.No help from the aids or nurses. My grandmother fell in the bathroom and pulled the emergency chain. No response from any of the staff.While bleeding and bruised on the tile floor, it was over an hour before a complete stranger (visitor) heard her beating on the wall with a shoe. They could care less. Most of the time the workers are hanging out at the nurses station on their cell phones . I put in a call to administrator and never received a return call. The worst facility period...............!!!
