      Maine Energy came and cleaned my propane furnace Oct 6. Furnace would not operate properly after cleaning, it was "stuck" on.2 months of no heat and no hot water and many service calls later I was told I had to have a new furnace.This one was 3 years old.2/12 weeks later with no estimate for new furnace from Maine Energy I called another company for second estimate.Tech came and 20 minutes later my furnace was fixed has worked since.Recieved a bill from Maine Energy for $1200 for service charges for breaking unit, then not fixing the unit and falsely telling me I needed a new unit.I did finally receive an estimate from Maine Energy and it was $2200. higher than estimate from company that actually fixed the unit. Mute point now that I don't need a new furnace to replace a 3 year old unit that Maine Energy couldn't fix after more than half dozen service calls, replacement of parts that did not need to be replaced which were removed and old parts put back all of which I got charged for.
