      They really know how to take care of people. This is a place where veterans are shown the respect we have earned.BRAVO MAINE VETERANS' HOMES!

      Established in 1983, Maine Veterans' Homes is a public, nonprofit organization that operates more than five facilities in Maine. It provides a range of care and support services for veterans and their families. The organization offers skilled nursing, rehabilitative, and Alzheimer's disease, dementia and residential long-term care services. Additionally, it provides pet, physical, occupational and speech therapies as well as various financial assistance programs. Maine Veterans' Homes organizes a range of activities, including musical shows, sing-alongs, family-style meal preparation events, movie outings, gardening and woodcrafts. It also provides a range of spiritual services, such as local church visits and Bible study and Sunday morning sessions. Maine Veterans' Homes maintains one of its facilities in Augusta, Maine.
