Having Dr. Kinney back in Poland for our cats, going to him when he moved to Auburn is a no brainer. He's dealt with our 2 cats when they were hit by cars, my cat when he had bladder stones, and our dog when she needed surgery on her eyes. Later my rabbit had an abscess burst and had a golf ball sized hole in his neck. Dr. Kinney was simply AMAZING with all my animals, making it incredibly easy to bring my guinea pig Larry to him when he started sneezing and coughing. His price is so cheap compared to other places I used to go, and he provides better service at the same time! I'd absolutely recommend everyone go to him.

My cat is very fearful of going the vet, and after our last horrible experience at a different practice, I had all but given up hope of finding a good vet for her. Following a minor health scare, I took her to Dr. Kinney and it was simply amazing. He was very patient and gentle with her. She never made any fuss whatsoever, and it was a VERY positive experience. I have always heard WONDERFUL things about Dr. Kinney, and now I have seen for myself that his gentleness and compassion are reassuring to animals and their owners alike. I would very highly recommend Auburn Animal Center.

Very good vet. Reasonable prices. Is good with cats, birds, guinea pigs. That is all of our pet experience, but others have said that he is good with dogs too. He has run the low cost spay and nueter clinics and really cares about animals.

i would recommend the auburn animal center to anyone who own vets i took my cat buster there when he was sick 10 months ago and they told me what was wrong with him right away and gave me options and one of the options was putting him to sleep which was not an option for me so he gave me some special food i had to force feed him for about a week and he was back to normal i'm glad i found this vet i know if i went anywhere else they would've wanted me to put him down and i don't give up that easily on my cats the vet bill was affordable to since i'm on a fixed income they'll be seeing me soon since my cat just had kittens 2 days ago he'll be seeing all 8 of my cats for now on

I highly recommend this place to anyone with a pet. My Red Bone Coon Hound was very sick, they took us in on short notice and examined my dog. The vet was very knowledgeable and picked up on what was wrong with my dog very quickly. With the medication they me for my dog he is now on his way to a speedy recovery. They understand that your pet just isn't a pet but an important part of your family.

I took my bearded dragon to him after a bad prolapse. She was little and just about gone when we got there. He looked at her and was very compasionate when he told us there was really nothing he could do but he would try. We ended up putting her to sleep but he didnt charge us for anything. We will be going back from now on he is a great vet

We first used Dr. Kinney in Gray in 1988, subsequently followed him to Poland, and just learned he has opened a practice in Auburn. We will be taking our dogs and cats to him again. Always compassionate and never trying to "guilt" people into expensive, low-yield testing they can't afford.

Cannot say enough good things about the AMAZING care we received at the Auburn Animal Center. We have known Dr. Steve Kinney for 10+ years and he is by far the best vet we have ever seen. He will help you take the best care of your pet!! He has provided so many wonderful services for our animals!! We recently had to put one of our beloved dogs to sleep, and though we were heartbroken, I could take comfort in the fact that it was the right thing to do, and with the support of Dr. Kinney, we were able to find some peace....He is also the kind of vet that won't charge for a bunch of things you don't need and he has always worked with us and our financial situation at the time. Go see Dr. Kinney-You won't be sorry!!
