I have recommended Dr. Benk to several co-workers. I have had several fillings replaced as well as a chipped tooth repaired. The results are amazing. The office is state of the art. The cost and insurance coverage is always discussed in detail before any procedure is performed. I have never felt pressured. If you want your teeth to be the best that they can be, choose Dr. Benk.  (Hide)

Even now, after moving from Intown Atlanta, I drive 223 miles to Atlanta for his dental services. The quality of his work is exceptional, and at prices similar to those charged by lesser quality dentists. Several friends go to Dr. Benk, as a result of seeing the work he has done on my teeth through the years. Genetically I am gifted with rather flawed, structurally weak teeth. Through the years, as necessary, he has installed crowns, (both traditional and Cerec?) veneers, fillings and a root canal. Today his hygienist cleaned my teeth and prepared xrays, while being personable and professional. He also teaches thousands of other dentists to utilize the cutting edge technology used by his dental office. I want an expert who works to keep my solid teeth viable, while repairing the defective teeth as needed. He communicates clearly, gives various procedural options and makes a detailed well planned recommendation.  (Hide)

His office decided that I needed restoration on a tooth. I wanted a crown but they advised an onlay. I had insurance but when I went for the service, his billing people came to the treatment room and demanded that I pay over $600 before service began, which was more than my 10% due by my ins plan. I paid the money because it was the end of my plan year. I should have walked out because the onlay results were a mess. I end up with an infected tooth that took months to heal and a tooth that does not have proper contact. His office had to refund my overpayment after my insurance paid. However, his office has refused to correct the poorly placed onlay. I am that percentage of customers that nobody ever hears about. Dr. Benk's attitude was definitely not customer oriented. You only see that when everything is going right. I implore this site to be fair and post this rating.  (Hide)

I felt very uncomfortable and smiling just wasn¿t easy. In fact, I avoided smiling completely. I was just ashamed of the discolored, yellowish stains on my teeth.I decided to do something about my dental problems and asked Dr. Benk for help. He helped me achieve my goal. I can now smile with confidence! Now I wonder what took me so long to get started and where has Dr. Benk been all this time.  (Hide)

He is trustworthy, experience, patience and very gentle. People always ask who is my dentist. I mean I am constantly asked that question. That is how I know his work is the best. A few years ago I broke my front teeth and he put veneers on them and they are just beautiful. I wasn't sure at first about the veneers but he assured me I would love them and he was right. I trust his advice. If you go to him you will not be disappointed. The best part about his work is your teeth doesn't look like they are fake they look real - like you always had good teeth. The staff is experience and friendly. There is free parking.  (Hide)

(More) For as long as I can remember, my smile was only a thin tight-lipped smirk. I never seemed to be happy with its outward appearance. Even in a full smile, all that stood out were tiny knobs of teeth accompanied by multiple gaps. I always called it a child¿s smile. It seemed like my smile just never developed. You can then imagine my surprise when I learned that Dr. Benk, a truly gifted artist, could solve my self-esteem issue and make my smile healthy at the same time. Dr. Benk placed six porcelain veneers on my top front teeth. I could barely believe that my smile and life could be changed in such a short time. Now, because I¿ve had very little dental work in my life, fear was of course an obstacle that had to be confronted. Dr. Benk¿s genuine concern and his team of highly supportive staff made the whole procedure smooth and easy. My happiness in return can not be measured.  (Hide)
