Company HistoryA National Limousine Service was established in 1982 by Bennie Anderson and the Drifters (a popular R & B music group from the 50’s & 60’s). A-National landed its first big account with the Days Inn of America Corporation which enabled A-National to open its first office in their downtown hotel property in a converted guest room.In 1988, after working several years with his father, Darrell Anderson (Entrepreneur) and Herman Johnson (Retired General Motors Corporation Supervisor) acquired A-National Limousine Service, building it into a 40 plus transportation fleet provider service not just in Atlanta, but in the entire Southeast.It now maintains multi-year crew contracts with more than 20 passenger airlines and freight carriers, including Federal Express, Delta, Continental, British Airways, Air France, Korean Air and Lufthansa, to name a few.In 1993/1994 Darrell Anderson, along with COO Herman Johnson and representation from other transportation companies, began the fight to overturn a city ordinance prohibiting transportation companies with fewer than five vehicles from operating independently.
